Taking time off when you need it is a vital part of caring for yourself and maintaining your overall well-being. At Confluent, we recognize the importance of stepping back to recharge, whether it’s to relax, spend time with loved ones, or focus on your personal needs. That’s why we’re committed to providing the support and flexibility you need to prioritize your health and come back feeling your best.

Vacation Days

Confluent provides employees with 25 vacation days (prorated based on hire date) for you to enjoy activities including vacations, family time, or whatever fills your cup.

Sick Time

Additional time off is available should you have an unexpected illness, doctor appointment, or need time to care for a family member. You will receive 5 sick days each year. Unused days will not carry over or be paid out when you leave.

Leave of Absence

Support as you care for your family is important and we provide 100% of your base pay for the durations noted below, less any insurance and government income replacement benefits.

• Pregnancy/Medical Disability: 8 weeks of full base pay
• Parental: 12 weeks of full base pay
• Family Care Leave: 6 weeks of full base pay

Employees returning from parental leave are eligible for a gradual return to work benefit, allowing them to work 80% of their normal hours for each of their first 4 weeks back.
